Using search to rediscover moments (iOS)

It's fun using search to revive great memories from the past. We particularly like the ‘Categories’ and ‘Dates’ sections to jump into the past. Start with all photos taken on a 'beach' and see where your memory journey leads ...or remember special dates like Halloween or Christmas. 2 practical examples can be found below.

‘One Year Ago’ (Dates)

STEP 1: Tap 'One Year Ago', if shown (meaning there is an exact or close match)

STEP 2: Tap the photo that interests you most to jump straight into Detail View

STEP 3: Done!

Remember that holiday in Spain (Categories)

STEP 1: Tap 'Swimming', to find all the photos showing someone swimming

STEP 2: Tap 'See All', to view all of the swimming photos - not just the previewed 12 - and their specific dates

STEP 3: Finding a holiday you want to remember, tap the arrow to see all the photos from that time period

STEP 4: Scroll up and down this view to remember other moments (not just those matching the search criteria) from this period
